**Aside from the rules, the students and I created a social contract that outlines how we would like to be treated by each other in our classroom. They are essentially our guidelines on how we plan on interacting with each other this year. Here is the form we used to create our class social contract. You can even create one for home!

In Our class, we focus on having a growth mindset. THis means that through dedication and hard work, we can achieve anything!
People who have a fixed mindset tend to believe that you are either born smart or you are not. but i believe that when we perservere through challenges, we actually grow our brains and become smarter!
